Narrow vision

As so often in the Hebrides, the view happens in a narrow horizontal strip, here looking south from Kyles Paible to Ronay and Eaval.
One of those v embarrassing moments tonight. Tricia informed me that we had been invited to dinner with neighbours so off we gaily trotted. A look of surpise on potential host's face gave away the fact that we were not expected. I think it transpired we had arrived a month early. 
They still had the decency to rustle up some pasta and a genial evening was had, unexpectedly for them.
