First Swim of the Year

Lovely sunny morning here in Campbeltown.
Grocery shopping over it was south to Carskey for a walk on the beach.
There was noticeably more sand on the beach.
Walking much easier than recent weeks with so much firm sand down near the water's edge to use. Fergus got off his lead halfway along and after his usual disappearing act into the dunes he reappeared at the far end of the beach and ran into the sea for his first swim of the year :-)
Lovely too watching the now returned gannets diving into the sea :-)
This afternoon layering Gesso over an old painting, accompanied by Van Morrison on CDs, then by BBC radio 2.
