Mystery

This extraordinary object was left anonymously at Filmhouse one day in June 2011. It turned out to be number three of ten beautiful book sculptures which were gifted to various cultural venues around the city throughout the summer. They recently went on a tour of Scottish libraries, more of which here, and ours came back to us (in a swanky new display case) last week.

If you look at it in large, you can just about read the Francis Ford Coppola quote: "I think cinema, movies, and magic have always been closely associated. The very earliest people who made film were magicians."
