Happy Mother's Day!

When I got up after just a short night's sleep, due to the clocks going forward, I boiled milk for coffee and remembered there was a card for me waiting to be opened. To my great surprise there was a present beside it.

Not having a clue what it was, I found The Daughters had sent me these wrist warmers. What a great gift for a photographer who feels the cold! And in my favourite colour! Once I put them on I couldn't bear to take them off!

It was the idea of This Daughter, whose Mothering Sunday cake I've recently used as an archival blip. I'd seen her wearing some to cope with coldness in Edinburgh.

Had a very nice day and sat back to watch an exciting F1
