in the garden

I enjoyed a good look around the garden this morning, suddenly everything is springing to life. We planned to do a little gardening before the boys came around to cook an evening meal for Lesley (and me) as a Mothers Day treat. Wrong, they came to cook a lunch. A beautiful 3 couses with Nick on starters and dessert, Dan the main course. They are both such good cooks and it was far less energetic than gardening ! Lovely day.
