Wildflowers galore

We finally managed to do the walk we abandoned on my birthday last week because of the inclement weather. It was much nicer today although we did have a bit of rain when we got near the summit at almost 5,000 feet. We walked 8.5 miles today. There were many bees buzzing around, a few butterflies and lots of swifts ducking and diving, a lovely day.
