Marsh Horsetails

A brief blip today...hooray I hear you shout....

Spotted this patch of Marsh Horsetails on our walk this morning.... I was surprised and pleased to see it back. It was hacked down by a mower in its prime last spring and the ‘marsh’ it grows in is normally fed by springs which have dried up, even during the winter.

All day spent in the studio, Mrs Madwill on cutting and me packing fabric! A lot of work still to do...
