Schlagerfest

Well, not my ideal choice for spending 8 hours on a beautiful Sunday, stuck in a sport hall serving drinks and food to 950 guests, and having to listen to non-stop schlager acts. To those who don't know schlager, it's a kind of quite modern German/Austro/Swiss popular folk music. The star of the show was Beatrice Egli, a local Swiss girl who won a big German talent show, and seems to be making quite a good living out of this kind of music now.
