Spring Swing

The three amigos came with my friend and I to visit Batemans, home of Rudyard Kipling now owned by the National Trust.

I’d been warned about Trigger leading the others astray but I’d not experienced any tricky behaviour from him because I’d been keeping him busy. Today, however, was another matter. As soon as I turned my back the amigos were standing next to the “keep off the grass” sign. Luckily the gardeners didn’t see them.

His next adventure was climbing over a rope barrier to have his photo taken with a tree stump carved into the image of the famous author. I could hardly say no when he’d travelled from the other side of the world.

After Kelso had a word with him about his behaviour I let them have a go on the swing that Rowan was eyeing up.

Emily, Storm, Piggy and Dave haven’t gone short of attention today either with a good walk in the woods before I went out.
