Visiting Granddaughter
Granddaughter Robynn and I travelled down to Porty this morning to her Mum’s flat to change the bed for unexpected friends arriving to stay for Easter.
When my daughter returned Muscat after her Big Birthday in February she wasn’t expecting anyone in the flat until she arrived back in August and so sheets and towels needed to be washed for the visitors.
We managed 3 loads with a café interlude in the middle. We left all the damp washing festooned on airers in the living room. Another visit looms to remove it all.
The trusty 26 bus returned us to town where I had to buy the implements and lotions I had been told I needed to maintain my new hairstyle. It was never this complicated with my pony tail. Nevertheless the cash was splashed and I will now have to learn how to use them effectively.
With Robynn off to visit her Grandfather I am having a quiet evening with my knitting. I have become so used to my own company that all the excitement of the past 3 days has exhausted me.
