Happy Monday

Al did her best to get Waitrose to deliver a tasteful posy of spring flowers to me for Mothers' Day. She'd got through the process to the online checkout when the system told her they don't deliver to our postcode. 

So, she had to use plan B - transfer the cash to her Dad and commission him to go to the local florist and order some flowers. He doesn't really do tasteful ......

And here they are - bright and blowsy, and just the thing for a grey Monday. 

I took the shot from above so you can't see that they are in a waste bin (a very tasteful bin, but still a bin) as I didn't have a big enough vase.
