Tulips

We were given this tulip as a house warming gift in 2012 when we moved in to our new house. After it finished blooming (it was in a 6" pot) I decided to plant the bulb outside. 
This is a hearty little tulip as it is in very hard ground and doesn't get much watering or care from me, to tell you the truth. But, even in these harsh circumstances, it continues to come up every spring. This year it has put up 2 buds for the first time. I'm looking forward to maybe capturing a shot of them when they are in full flower.
