Activities today included: paying a garage bill through in Kirkwall, a meeting in a Kirkwall bank (CMC was present), polishing for my Mum, cutting the grass (in a 42 mph wind straight off the sea), doing my impersonation of a weel kent Scottish bank - entering the elder hedge and make some branch cuts, chatting with La Doyenne of Blipland, eating a few buns, not thinking about bracken.  When I got home I found the government had written to me about my finch.
