Blue and Green

A simply gorgeous sunny day. It was great to see the sky so untypically blue with snow on the trees and ground.

I came home from the hospital with a new pair of green socks but no stents to support my suspect cardiac aortas. Yay! I watched most of the procedure on a huge screen. Amazing stuff. 2 surgeons, 4 nurses, a dreamy IV cocktail, and the music of my choice. I felt very grateful for medical care that many in this world can’t even access.

Everyone was throughly professional, competent, efficient, cooperative with one another and very caring. A nice experience that could have been much worse in many ways.

PS wise guys: all patients get the same size socks.
