Family

H’s brother and sister in law arrived today from Durango CO where they said there was not one blade of green grass to prove it’s spring, let alone a blossom!   So of course we had to blow them away with the cherry trees at the UW  (about 1/3 of the people there on Saturday) before having the whole family over for pizza and birthday cake (Sis-in-law was 70 last week, Daughter-in-law is 50 next week!).. Somehow managed a photo of each family….Tomorrow will be a day in the city for us with these 2 from the mountains.  Gotta rest up. :-)


Found out the cherry trees were a gift from Japan in 1962 and they were already 20 years old.  the article I read today said they were healthy and may make it to100!
