A Round Of Two Halves

We started off today's round in persistent rain as the pond on the 4th testifies in the top shot. Phil & Henri are waiting (fairly) patiently and damply on the green for me to get my blip.

A couple of minutes later I dumped my tee shot at the 5th into the bunker in the top right of the photo, took 4 shots to get out and ended up with a 9 on a par 3 hole!

By the time we started the back 9 the rain had stopped and the sun had even come out by the 15th, as witnessed by the bottom photo. Being a fair weather golfer, I managed to play the back 9 as well as I've ever done and ended up playing to handicap overall, despite my exploits on the 4th.
