Shades of Grey Descending

Taken from above Leysin where the pistes were deserted. From here you can see see the full width of the Muveran range. However, if you look at the left side of the dark ridge in front of the main ridge, there is a large mast. The local bouquetin herd lives on either side of that ridge, the forest and steep rocky caves, sheltering them from the winter storms to some extent. I hope they are ready for the next two days of heavy snowfall again!
