A dreadful journey both to and from work today. The motorway was closed this morning for emergency repairs, and the fog as I drove across country was thicker than I’ve ever seen it. Due to traffic on surrounding roads, I just followed the sat nav. No idea where I actually went but did arrive eventually! The same again back home this evening, late due to the final round of story readings for the competition. This time Operation Brock has the motorway inaccessible from the LC junction. Should I say that I am sick of Brexit? And we haven’t even left the EU on the due date. The UK must be the laughing stock of the whole world!
