Holy Week Experience

Well, I've done the whole of Holy week and Easter twice today! First the church school with their wonderful performance of Resurrection Rock. Some superb singing, especially soloists, and a very moving performance. Then, this afternoon, I did a Holy week experience with the community school. We started with Palm Sunday in school and then processed through the village with some of the children shouting "Hosanna" as they saw passers by. We enacted Maundy Thursday in church then Good Friday as we carried the cross to the field behind the church and finished with Easter as we decorated the cross with flowers. 

The wind prevented me from getting the best picture of the flowers, they wouldn't stay the right way round!
