Brilliant Orange.

After being in a funk yesterday I'm better today.

I'm reading the third book by one of my favorite authors. This image was inspired from a story in one of his previous books.

(If anyone can guess what author you get a virtual HI-FIVE!!)

There was tons of post processing in this one:
Here is the original.
Took out the pencil.
Added the white background.
Selectively changed the image to B&W
Lots of playing with blur but could never get the peel to blend with the image.
Threw the image into Poladroid for the heck of it. Really liked the cropping to it.
Threw it in a few more times to get a good look to the random dust and elements. (really liked the placing of the thumb print)
Once more through Aperture to up the sharpness and crop the boarder off.
