Separation

It is such a beautiful day, I decided to do my reading outside on the back patio. I left the screen open so the fresh air could get into the house. Max, my faithful sidekick, sat at the door waiting for me. When I turned and saw him he meowed at me. We had a brief conversation. But I'm not going in till I have to because the weather is so beautiful today. He'll just have to wait.
