Evening in Bieldside

A vert wet day. Essentially non stop rain from dawn to dusk. Luckily the rain was not very heavy as I walked the fairly long way to the bus. Normally I never know where to get off the Bieldside bus until I have already passed my destination. Today I was more fortunate and got off at the correct stop. I am meeting a former colleague for dinner at the Bieldside Inn.

The church across the junction from the pub dates from around 1900 and was built at a time when Aberdeen was expanding into the countryside around the city.

The sky is obviously not as I saw it this evening. The true sky was the usual featureless grey. I still have not quite got the hang of sky replacement as the selection of areas around tree branches etc still defeats me. More lessons and practice required!
