Knole

We visited friend in the care home where she now resides having suffered a stroke, and enjoyed a delicious 'Mother's Day' lunch with her. Lovely to see her; think she has finally realised she will not get well enough to go home and appears to be comfortable and happy enough in this lovely home. The staff are wonderfully caring and she is very well looked after.
When she began to get sleepy we left and then decided to have a walk at Knole before heading home.  It was bitterly cold in the wind so we did not stay too long but did see a few deer enjoying the grass.  
Home to a warming drink.
