Glendower House
It's been a cold and showery day and it's been hard finding something 'beautiful' for the Wide Wednesday theme. We ended up in Monmouth and on the way to Wetherspoons for a cuppa we passed Glendower House which I thought looked beautiful as buildings go. Obviously a former church converted to a house.
On looking up its history at home, I see that it was built in 1844 and fell into dereliction - being restored in 2002 by a grant from Cadw and has won awards for its restoration and featured on tv!
