Just arrived

Annette met us at the airport! A nice surprise as it really helped us find our way round and get accustomed to the trains network. We sent our luggage off to our hotel, then took the slow local train into Tokyo, to Shinjuku where we are staying and sampled our first Japanese food before the time difference caught up with us. An afternoon nap did the trick, then out again for a wee wonder. A pretty relaxed first day!
