Flamborough Head Lighthouse

What a fabulous day it has been, got up reasonably early on my day off and headed off to RSPB Bempton Cliffs. Spotted loads of Razorbills, Gannets and fulmar, but alas no Puffins, although it is a little early for them.
On the way back sis took a detour to Flamborough Head Lighthouse. The current lighthouse ( this one) was first lit in 1806, and was designed by Samual Wyatt. However even more impressively The Old Lighthouse just down from this one, which we passed on the way up was completed in 1674 by Sir John Clayton which is still standing!
