A pathetic shot but at least they are here.

A miserable day weather wise with no tennis but an invitation to be a judge at a talent contest. When I left school I said I would be happy to return anytime but not to judge anything - well that didn't last long! It was a lovely occasion and the children all did very well - not least the audience who clapped with enthusiasm throughout  
I came home to reports of birds on the feeder - well starlings, so set up hoping to get a blip ... waited and waited and then spotted this little fellow on the lawn - a bit far away really, but my starter for 10 - they can only get better!
