Coconut cake

We had our friends J and E round for dinner this evening, and I tried a new cake recipe for dessert - coconut cake. It turned out pretty well - the frosting was especially delicious! It did make a big cake though - I gave a couple of slices to J and E to take back home for tomorrow, but we’ve still got plenty left!
After dinner, we were able to show them a recording of Laura’s recent choir concert, when they were singing Mozart’s Requiem. Laura had just sent us the link on WhatsApp this morning, and we finally were able to access it and play it through the TV, so it was nice to share it with them. For an amateur choir, they did a really great job! The joys of modern technology!
