Autumn in the Air

The first fallen leaves I have seen in my street.
This morning I had a surprise text from an ex colleague who is in Nelson this week.  We met for coffee and a chat to catch up on the last two years.  She retired at the same time I did.  We both agreed we are thriving in this stage of our lives.
Exciting happenings tomorrow.  We are off to stay the weekend with the couple and their children who are living in the Marlborough Sounds.  We will drive to Punga Cove on Endeavour Inlet and they will come across in their boat to pick us up and take us to their house.
