Cedar waxwings after a snowfall
I was standing within twenty feet of the tree these cedar waxwings landed in. They would all take off in unison, fly together in a swooping pattern and return to the tree. The sound of their wings was quite loud and it was a wonderful experience being so close to the birds. We had a few centimeters of snow last night and this morning there were lots of photo opportunities. These birds were the icing on the cake.
