Alpine No. 2

Off to a big city today for lunch with 80 retired Professors.
May be late back so here is an early blip before I leave.

This is Erythronium “Pagoda”. In the alpine house but they will grow and flower well outside here too.
The common name is Dog’s tooth violet.
