Snacking

Came across this wee guy in Uffing today. It kept disappearing then reappearing on another branch with something tasty and posing for a few seconds. I rarely see a red red-squirrel here, they're mostly dark brown like this one and actually look black from ground level.
I was on my way to the Flecks, an invitation to dinner is never refused!, who were just back from holidaying in Italy and in fine form. It's always great to catch up and especially over a fine meal!
Earlier I'd made the daily hospital run, completing all tasks on today's list and earning an extra Brownie point (sorry Petra!) from S's mum for rolling her in a wheelchair the length of the hospital so she could buy a mirror in the hospital shop. They didn't have one so she settled for a couple of bags of the unhealthiest snacks on offer! Think she's on the mend right enough.
