Straight
It was back to see the surgeon today for a check up.
Usually when we go see this particular doctor we wait at least 2hrs to be seen, yes even with a pre booked appointment 3 months in advance. He is the top surgeon in Victoria and they must squeeze more and more patients in to his day. The girls are usually very hungry and bored after they leave. I am always surprised at how well Maddie copes when she is finally called in and given her testing.
Today was a first we waited only 10 minutes and were called in to the orthoptists who runs all the tests and measures how straight she is. There was major improvements they were noticeable straight away. Maddie breezed throughout the eye test and at record speed getting all the letters correct even the smallest print. previously she had to really concentrate and take her time. I was so happy for her.
More good news continued she is now measuring straight. With no turn. All we need to do now is wait to see if it stabilises and stays there. Fingers crossed it does this is one brave little girls who deserves a break.
Came home to find we had visitors, auntie ray, john and rachel. Girls loved playing outside with them. Here they are Playing with a old plumbing pipe. Putting stones down the hollow centre. Maddie was giving the girls a ride. Their faces and expressions are priceless.
