Light Through the Trees

Dear Diary,

This is directly across the street from my house.  Only at this time of year does the light come through the trees like in just this way.  I really like the effect.  Our snow yesterday was just a flurry and it was melted by noon.  What a relief.  Slowly my world is transforming.  I suspect it will look much different when I return on Sunday from my visit to Boston.  I am in a great need for a few days away.  Weather looks good for my journey to and fro, thankfully.
