New Acer Leaves in the Rain
Feeling somewhat stir-crazy after a week and more with this rotten cold cum cough, we decided to get some fresh air and went to Westonbirt. Where it rained, and I mean absolutely pelted down.
That was fine for a while, but raincoats of a particular vintage keep one dry for only so long, and even though Janet was wearing her mum's very fine Gortex coat, it is relevant to note Frances died in 2007.
Anyhow, here's a lovely unfolding Acer taken just before the heavens opened.
If you need a post-walk image, consider that we are both dressed now in our onesies, with the heat on and the telly playing more Kafkaesque nonsense from Westminster.
My onesie is a Doctor Who Tardis, and Janet's is a fluffy rabbit.
There. You're all better now, aren't you.
