Maryport Town,

Moved away from my normal haunt of the harbour area. This blip is of the junction of Curzon and Senhouse streets. Looking up hill towards the harbour area. If you look up the right hand side of Senhouse street, where the cars are parked, there is a red and white square shape where the shop fronts change alinement. It is near this point where many years ago the original run of the River Ellen went, before it was re directed to its current course. Before the alteration of Senhouse street, to what it is today, the road was dug up and the culverts were found; also the road flattens at this part of the hill.
