Mixed Day

When you basically have an outdoor job the weather matters tremendously.
So today went from hot sunshine to a wild hail storm.  I didn't manage to get the children to the allotment but did interesting, nature linked activities at the nursery instead.
That's me finished for the week, no work tomorrow and 'M' is back from uni which I am happy about.
This is a photo taken at the main allotment site at Warrriston, our allotment is away from here along a little lane close by.
Just a bit of allotment chat now.  My friend has waited so long for an allotment, 10 years in fact he is now 81!  He is uncertain what to do as he has always wanted to be able to garden, but feels he is not in the best shape now.
