The Lighthouse

The blipfoto shows The Lighthouse memorial to Robert Falcon Scott  in Roath Park Lake, Cardiff.  Here's a link to some early photo's of it.

Scott sailed on The Terra Nova from Cardiff docks on 15 June 1910 and died in the ill-fated expedition.  The memorial was erected in 1914.
