I got up at 9 am to be ready between 10 and 11 am, when Kevin was planning to meet me in our Kiez.
He was late and I did not mind waiting.

When he arrived we went for a coffee at Chapter one and then browsed the flea market at Marheineke Platz. Kevin very much liked it.
Next stop was for a galette at the French. It was sunny and close to 20 degrees and we sat out side.
We then passed by the flat to drop the purchases. 

Out again we had a look at Peter’s shop in our street. He is specialised in vintage branded and designer sunglasses, which he fits with new glass and rubbers etc, to bring them in almost mint condition.
We had a lot of fun trying on glasses from the 50th through to more recent decades and some were incredible silly.
I ended up buying and beautiful pair Swiss made glasses …. They were so wonderful, I could not put them back in the shelf.
Kevin left with a pair of Lacoste sun glasses, that suited him so well.
We had a lot of fun with Peter and took a few Instant photos for memories.

Once we left it was late already but we stopped at more shops on our way to Mehringdamm.
Kevin loved it.

We finally took the U-Bahn to Warschauer Strasse just before 6pm. The original Plan was about 2 pm :).

We took an obligatory photo in a Photo Automat in Mühlenstraße. The only colour one in Berlin and then walked along the Eastside Gallery.
At the end we admired the Mercedes Benz Arena, where a concert was on. WE almost bought some cheap tickets for a German Band, that we did not know.
But first we needed coffee and went into the East Side shopping Mall, which is very new. I was please to find them serving Bonanza Coffee!
We sat far too long and the concert had already started before we left.

It was dark already and we walked through RAW and then Through Friedrichshain.
We started looking for food and ended up in an Asian Place offering Sushi and all kinds of stuff and had lovely food.
We walked back to the U-Bahn - very tired and called it a day.
I got off at home and Kevin carried on to his hotel.

Tomorrow we will meet at Arkona Platz and will do the MauerPark as well.
