North Berwick and RLS

A bit of a grab shot - I have to head off on business for 48 hours and wanted to get my blip done.

Robert Louis Stevenson had close links with North Berwick...see link. As well as a memorial stone at the end of the HIgh Street there is a wonderful Close with murals, including the map from Treasure Island and a row of his books. I tried to do a little research into the background on this but can't find any reference to it...so if others can enlighten me I would be interested.
