empty pocket and perhaps a jealous heart

bus conductor in city of Dhaka sits on on left side of the bus driver to count the mornings cash. he probably has a few mouths to feed at home and leaves them alone for the whole day as he rides around town collecting bus fare from people who are doing much better at feeding mouths than he is. jealousy does strike his heart when he eyes the wads of cash belonging to other men. cruel world in all its serenity allowing its own human race to feed off of others. not just through the use of cash but from the feeding of energy. jealousy breeding at men's souls who deserve more but fate thought otherwise.

i was thinking while i sat in my car, if this was America, what would the Gov't do to protect and assist the generously poor. my toes curled in my warm socks. selfish woman am i, riding in my comfortable leather interior car driven by a chauffeur and taking pictures of cold and poor men. cold in heart and cold in temperature as well.
