Drifting.....

....parts of this day seemed to be in a haze.....

Our day will close early tonight, rain has lashed at the window pane, wind has sent windflowers drooping to the ground, the lawn is soggy and rather puddly.....it is Gumboot Friday

I popped round to mum's (walkingS) this morning, she was busy watering her pot plants and re-arranging the last of the bouquets. Mum asked if I would help her with a blip which I did. You can read her lovely thank you words on her journal - hope the link works, I had a bit of a problem inserting it.

The last couple of weeks have been a sad and difficult time but as a family we've come together and helped one another. Your kind words have been so caring and supportive, thank you so very much. Mum and I fly on Monday for a memorial for R held by his family in the North Island. It will be hard as memories come floating back but together we'll help one another.
