Media City Manchester

I went out with the WI to Media City today. The tour was excellent. The studio top right is where they present Saturday sport. The background is done by all round lighting. There are over 200 huge lights in there and it gets very hot. The bottom left is the real Breakfast show studio and on the right is a mock version with 2 of the WI ladies having a go at reading the news using the auto cue. You’re not allowed to sit on the actual sofa in the real studio.
It was freezing cold and raining today. I was glad to get home and put on my big cardie, after being frozen all day.
