Here Again

Spent a few hours at the Bexley Wing in the haematology department yesterday, all is satisfactory with this part of Mr P’s illness and he can continue on the trial.
Discussed the implications of the new illness and the compatibility of adding more immune therapy drugs to his existing medication.
Today we had another long and complex discussion in another department of the hospital, lots of information about the possible side effects which always sound daunting.
We had already discussed overnight what the next step should be so it looks like we will be back here a lot more over the next weeks and months.
We are both okay and l know you are thinking of us but all this talking and internalising new facts and procedures has left me feeling quite tired so it’s comments off again for tonight.
