En plein air

Today is one of my monthly No Work Fridays. Something that I started from the beginning of this year and part of my long, slow wind down to retirement. 
I nipped off to visit the walled garden where the Spring flowers are looking stunning. Hard to choose a favourite, but this blossom against the old stone wall was rather lovely.
Now I'm off to visit Fave Niece, who has been told that she must stay in hospital until Monday :-(
