Going home

Getting ready for the 5 hour bus ride back to the airport.  At least we could see the scenery this time as it was dark when we came.

I have explained that we had an enormous amount of rain in the past 48 hours.  At home this would have caused massive flooding and travel disruption.  The staff were a little concerned that we would get cut off because there were a couple of rivers we had to cross near the lodge.   They therefore put a contingency plan in place with a boat to carry us across if necessary.  Thankfully it was not needed and we managed to get to the airport with no problem.
