Here's looking at you, kid
A visit to Pensthorpe nature reserve today. This little darling, closely followed by her boyfriend, came over to say hello while we were taking pictures on the bridge, and stopped for a chat. They are used to being hand fed (you can buy bags of suitable food in the shop) and take a lot of convincing that you are empty handed! She posed beautifully for several pics - I rather like this one, with him behind, looking on as she struts her stuff. She was tiny, we think she might be one of last year's babies - the first of this year's ducklings were around already, elsewhere in the park.
As we went back to the car park we saw a red kite circling - they really do get everywhere these days, MiL saw one this morning too, on the beach at RSPB Titchwell.
