Englefield Gates.

This afternoon we walked for a while around some of the Englefield estate. There was a very large funeral about to take place at St Mark's church there. Endless lines of cars - mostly Range Rovers and Land Rovers were arriving and being directed to a field to park. We spoke to one of the marshalls but he didn't know whose funeral it was. There were signs to the estate  - see extra - with a picture of a bear, which I think probably give a clue but not to us!
