Pastries and coffee in bed before tidying up and checking out of our little house.

We pretty much did the same as yesterday in reverse, except we walked the whole way back along the coast path. The weather was much the same, unfortunately with less sunshine breaks. We were pretty lucky though, and only had to hide from the rain once, very near the beginning (so thankfully very near a convenient coffee shop).

Lots of forests and cliffs and fields and steps to climb and rocks to clamber over and beaches to explore... and then we finally got back to Torquay. Spent a couple of hours slumped on a sofa in a coffee shop on the harbour, then had one more little walk before getting some dinner. I ate pretty much this whole mountain of nachos, and I’d definitely earned it.

Caught the train back to rainy Bristol in the evening.
