I could do with some of these!!

For humans!!!! Mine are running low.

The only picture taken today, not inspiring, but links today’s events.

Early alarm call, as I had to be over to R’s by 8am ready for a delivery of fence panels. The delivery window was 8am - 1pm, so I was prepared with my breakfast, lunch, a collection of sewing/crochet jobs to be done and plants for the garden.

The weather was cold and very windy so I stayed indoors. The house was freezing so the cold fingers were a bit unco-operative !!!

R arrived home at 1pm as she was heading off to an event. We discovered that the batteries had failed in the thermostat for the heating.....the reason for the house being so cold!!!

I sent this picture to B asking if we had spares at home. Good job otherwise I wouldn’t have taken a picture!!!

Needless to say I was still waiting for the delivery at that point in time. R rang the company to query the delay and they turned up at 2pm!!! Not impressed.

B came over later to cut back the wisteria on the front wall and the roses on the arch in the back garden.

I arrived home at about 5pm, had a coffee and bun, then fell asleep on the settee for half an hour.

It has been a long bitty day, not terribly productive. But I’m pleased to say that I’m not involved in replacing the fence panels .......!!!!
